General Motors of Canada Limited shares worldwide concerns about the future of our environment and has undertaken a variety of product enhancement and production initiatives to protect human health, natural resources and the environment we all share.

General Motors of Canada Limited is further committed to the environment through their vigorous participation, along with the Federal and Provincial governments, the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers Association as well as Ford and Daimler Chrysler, in the Canadian Automotive Manufacturing Pollution Prevention Program. The project is aimed at the voluntary reduction in the use, generation and release of toxic substances from automotive manufacturing facilities in the Great Lakes Basin. General Motors of Canada Limited is also committed to continually seeking ways of preserving precious natural resources for future generations.
