PRELIMINARY CHECKLIST

The current checklist of 57 species presented here includes all species as determined by various studies undertaken to date by the Canadian Wildlife Service, The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority. Studies are currently underway by these same agencies in order to monitor any changes. Most of the work so far has been conducted in Second Marsh, Harmony, Farewell and Black creeks.
